나 자신에게 준 선물인 제주 여행.

지인을 통해 방문한 아다지오는 지친 삶을 잠시 잊게 하는 고요하고 편안한 곳이였다.

후각이 예민한 나로써는 숙소의 청결이 가장 중요한 부분이였는데, 폭신하고 깨끗한 침구와, 숙소 곳곳이 깔끔하고 말끔히 정돈되어 있는 분위기, 쥔장님의 취향이 묻어난 엔틱한 무드가 호텔 못지 않게 느껴졌다.

아다지오에서 새소리를 들으며 잠을 깨고, 눈을 뜨면 펼쳐지는 오션뷰와 햇살의 반짝임을 보며 아침을 맞이하는 시작은 쉼으로 시작되었다.

숙소에서 대포주상절리까지 걷기에 좋은 거리였다.

산책로에서 만난 고양이 가족과 피톤치드가 맞이하는 아침 산책은 자연이 주는 선물이였다.

한달살이를 시작한 지 이제 4주째 되어 가네요. 어제 한라산 백록담을, 어렵다는 관음사 코스로 다녀 온 여파로 오전은 집에서 쉬다가 오후에 동네 한바퀴 산책을 해 보기로 하고 길을 나섰습니다.

분리수거하는 곳 맞은편 길을 따라 가다 보면 멋진 느티나무가 있는 마을복지 회관이 나옵니다. 대포동은 선사시대부터 사람이 살았다 하고 원주 원씨가 제일 먼저 정착한 것으로 본다고 합니다.

바로 옆에 관광객들에게도 제법 알려진 로칼 식당인 '바다이야기'가 있는데 직접 잡은 물고기로 요리를 한다고 합니다. 특히 갈치정식이 맛있고 가성비도 좋습니다.

바로 돌아 나오다 보니 '진수산'에서 잡아 온 물고기를 손질하고 계셔서 조기를 샀는데 지금까지 봤던 조기 중에 제일 컸습니다. 1Kg에 만원 / 총 5Kg을 샀고, 반건조해서 주신다고 하네요. 생선 값을 잘은 모르지만 득템한 느낌입니다.
